Saturday July 24, Awarded 2nd place for 'In the Shadows' painting completed at the Plein Air Easton 2010 Quickdraw event. Invited to paint the Sunday July 25th at the winners brunch and auction. At the auction, my painting 'Grand Entrance' was purchased by The Academy Art Museum of Easton for their permanent collection.

Participated in the 2010 Solomons Paint the Town. Another good year, 1st place in the quick draw event and sold a painting in the main show! Thanks to all of the coordinators for putting on such a wonderful event!

I had a great time at the Paint Annapolis plein air event. A wonderful place to paint boats and water scenes. What a great group of artist to paint with!

Participated in the Plein Air Easton Competition in Easton, MD! What a great time. Thanks to all that came out to support the arts. I met so many wonderful folks and caught up with some old acquaintances. A sepcial thanks goes out to my host family, the Jarboe's, for their wonderful hospitality. Three paintings sold during the show!

Juried into the Paint Annapolis plein air competition!

Participated in the Solomons Paint the Town. Nice to see the turn out and to share the landscapes of So. MD. I was furtunate to get 3 awards! I received an honorable mention for a piece completed during the quickdraw event, an award for the Best Use of Light for the piece Channel Marker, and and award for the Best View of Annmarie Garden for the piece Red Umbrella's.

I have been accepted into the 5th Annual Plein Air Easton Arts Festival!

Karen Kinser did it again! Thanks for a great plein air event - Out & About Norfolk. I participated in the very wet and chilly 2 day event on November 13th and November 14th. I was surprised that I was awarded an honorable mention award for my pastel painting Lafayette Blues. There were many great works there and was glad to be part of the event
